IMD Rainfall Alert: વીજળીના કડાકાભડાકા સાથે સાત દિવસ સુધી થશે વરસાદ, હીટવેવથી મળશે રાહત, હવામાન વિભાગની આગાહી


According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura are likely to receive light to moderate rains for the next seven days.


IMD Rainfall Alert: Good news has come amid the ongoing heatwave across the country including North India.  The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in other states including Uttar Pradesh in the coming days.  It will provide relief from heat.  The Meteorological Department said that eastern India will witness heatwave till today and then it will reduce.  So, a warning of heavy rain has been announced in the Northeast states till May 7.


Talking about the last 24 hours weather, heat wave conditions were recorded in areas like Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Interior Karnataka etc.  Nandyal area of ​​Rayalaseema recorded the highest temperature of 46 degree Celsius.


According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura are expected to receive light to moderate rains for the next seven days.  Apart from this, there is fear of thunderstorm and lightning.  Arunachal Pradesh on May 5 and 6, Assam, Meghalaya on May 7, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura on May 5 to 7 are likely to experience heavy rain.


Talking about the southern states, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yemen, Rayalaseema, Telangana are likely to receive rain for the next five days.


As for North India, a new Western Disturbance is approaching on May 9, due to which the weather will change in many states.  Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh will receive light rain on May 5 and 6, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on May 5 to 8.  So Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and East Rajasthan will receive light rain from May 9-11.  So, rain warning has been issued for five days from May 7 to 11 in Uttar Pradesh.  Heavy winds are expected for the next five days.
