Gujarat Weather Update: Rains have finally arrived in Gujarat.  Torrential rains have lashed many districts of central Gujarat since early morning.  Rain has arrived in Vadodara, Panchmahal, Dahod, Kheda since early morning.  So now it seems as if monsoon has arrived in Gujarat.  Monsoon is likely to advance from tomorrow.  This time the monsoon advanced from the West Bank after 8 June and stalled over Karnataka by 11 June.


But forecaster Ambalal has expressed the possibility of rainfall in some parts of Gujarat from tomorrow due to the heavy flow of the Bay of Bengal creating a heavy rain system.  Heavy rainfall is predicted due to moisture in the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 According to Ambalal Patel's prediction, monsoon will start from June 25-26.  But between June 28 and July 2, the possibility of heavy to very heavy rain has been expressed in the areas of North Gujarat, areas of Mehsana, Harij, Sami, Becharaji, Kadi Siddhapur, Visnagar, Mansa.

 While several areas of central Gujarat, Vadodara, Panchmahal, and Ahmedabad are forecast to receive rain.  Heavy rains in areas like Udaipur of Rajasthan and rains in Sabarkantha areas are also likely to flood Sabarmati river.


 Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains have also been predicted in Mumbai-Maharashtra areas.  Bharuch may also experience rain.  Heavy rain has also been predicted in Dang, Ahwa, Valsad in other areas of Gujarat.  Apart from this, the areas of South Gujarat are also likely to receive heavy rains.  Narmada may flow on both banks due to possibility of heavy rain in many areas of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan.  By July 8, after Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra areas are also expected to receive rain.
